friend sent this when i was in shanghai two weeks ago. couldn't have come at a more appropriate time as i had just spent seder at shuva yisrael with a bunch of israeli backpackers and residents of hong kong... than a visit for lunch during the last day of pesach at the ohel-moshe synagogue in HK, than a wonderful tour of the old synagogue in the Jewish Ghetto of Shanghai - what a great museum there! There is also an interesting history of the Harbin Jews in China as well...
